JOB ROLES

  • Review and provide input in detail the design of pipe supports in relation to pipe stresses; review main selection criteria and design codes for piping components and systems; review the main operational considerations for piping components and systems; analyze common failure modes found in piping systems and identifies ways to solve it.

  • Review the detail design of a major component of pressure vessels; selection criteria and design codes for pressure vessels; operational considerations for pressure vessels; common failure modes found in pressure vessels and identifies ways to overcome them and the maintenance requirements of pressure vessels.

  • Review the detail design of bolted flange joints; selection criteria and design codes; determining the operating limits of bolted flange joints based on the operating environment; common failure modes found in bolted flange joints; Flange joints management.

  • Review the detail design of heat exchangers; selection criteria and design codes; operational considerations; common failure modes; maintenance requirements of heat exchangers.

  • Review the detail design of valves and Pressure Safety Valve (PSV); selection criteria and design codes; operational considerations; common failure modes and maintenance requirements.

  • Review the detail design of conventional and cryogenic storage Tanks (LNG); selection criteria and design codes; operational & maintenance requirements.

  • Review the detail design of Marine, Dry and Wet Flare System; selection criteria and design codes; operational & maintenance requirements.

  • Review all mechanical equipment specification, data sheets, Request for Quotations, and Technical Bid Evaluations provided by Contractor to ensure each equipment meets process design and performance requirements.

  • Review plant layout and 3D models to ensure plant safety, maintainability and operability.

  • Review, and provide Mechanical and structure engineering input on risk assessment for OLNG Facilities.

  • Ensure to apply technology best practices during designing and selecting the equipment and materials, provide advanced expertise and knowledge to Contractor.

     

QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience as a mechanical static Engineer in various upstream oil and gas and other industrial project including 5 years’ experiences of LNG Liquefaction Plant are required.

  • At least 2 years’ experience as a COMPANY representative during FEED or Detail engineering phase of LNG Liquefaction Mega Project.

  • Experience in static equipment fabrication in Indonesia is an advantage.
