JOB ROLES

  • Create and maintain financial transaction records for projects activities and financial services transaction record, assist invoice verification and approval status for project transaction; maintain chart of account implementation in the accounting system, conduct required cost analysis and provide solution on accounting issues; to ensure accounting records compliance to the prevailing rules and regulations and Joint Ventures/Partners agreement, and the records are valid and updated as a base of taking decision.
  • Assist external accountant audit and J-SOX audit; prepare budget spending, coordinate in preparing budget variance analysis and budget status report to related department; to ensure proper control on budget expense and budget variance within tolerate range accuracy of the figures as well as proper cost allocation and accounting principle.
  • Provide timely and accurate Account Payables (A/P) and Account Receivables (A/R) entry against Payment Request and outstanding of balance status and its settlement process; Assist accounting closing activities; in order to ensure financial settlement and financial books are closed timely and correctly, and general accounting reports are generated in compliance with the accounting standards.
  • Conduct monthly financial closing for projects and corporate activities, asset accounting, inventory accounting, etc. to ensure financial transaction data closing in line with Company policy and procedures and accounting standard and manage qualified quarterly financial statement variance analysis report to provide variance analysis for Tokyo Head Quarter within the timeframe; propose accounting report for corporate and administrative activities and project activities; to ensure accounting report availability and submission within the timeframe and accounting report is accurate and reliable as a base of taking decision.
  • Maintain asset records and monitoring system (SINAS), asset values calculation and reporting, asset movement records and security system, asset surplus and asset transferring either internally or externally (transfer to other PSC) including proposed asset write-off and disposal, maintain asset physical check both regular or impromptu; to ensure optimum asset utilization, valid asset book values information, and asset movement in line with SKK Migas rules and regulations, and Company policy and procedures.

 

QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • Minimum 2 years experiences in a reputable public accounting firm with preferable additional background in Oil and Gas Industry.
