Job Purposes:

• Review, analyze, and propose technical aspects of land acquisition (LA) process, forest permitting process (borrow to use), and other related matters in project site/s preparation activities.
• Coordinate the communication and engagement with GoI to obtain necessary land or permit for all project site/s during project preparation stage.
• Maintain and implement land maintenance programs during construction and operation stages. This position shall work closely with the social performance function when engaging communities in the proposed project site/s.

Main Responsibilities:

1. In coordination with Communication & Relations Department Land Acquisition & Social Performance function, review, analyze, and propose technical aspects of land acquisition (LA) process, forest permitting process (borrow to use), and other related matters in project site/s preparation activities in compliance with local, national and international standards with main focus on IFC performance standards (IFC PS).
2. Develop plans and programs for LA or for securing forest borrow to use permit and develop programs for complying with regulation, compensation obligations, and performance standards.
3. Coordinate the communication and engagement with GoI (especially with the Ministry of Environment and Forestry) to obtain necessary land or permit for all project site/s during project preparation stage.
4. Maintain and implement land maintenance programs during construction and operation stages - to ensure that all preparations and operations at INPEX Indonesia be carried out in compliance with local & national regulations and international standards.
5. Work closely with the social performance function when engaging communities in the proposed project site/s. 

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Forestry, Social Science, or studies related to land acquisition.
• A minimum of 10 years in the Oil and Gas industry or mining with at least 8 years in the area of Land Acquisition.
