Job Purposes:

Provide recommendations in developing Geotechnical engineering project plan, review Consultants/Contractors’ proposals in tender process and the Contractor’s works in submitting geotechnical engineering Pre-FEED including its interface and integration to other process and system; to ensure availability of reliable geotechnical engineering Pre-FEED that meet engineering standards and HSSE requirements in Masela block.

 

Main Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and review all engineering and technology best practices and improvement around the world related to various offshore gas production system; identify, analyze and review Abadi project engineering concept and philosophy, project plan and strategy, develop and propose subsea engineering project plan according to determined offshore gas production system strategic plan and concept on Pre-FEED phase of Masela block; to ensure developed Geotechnical engineering project plan meet engineering principles.
2. Review and analyze Consultants/Contractors’ proposal in the tender process to provide Pre-FEED especially Geotechnical technical/engineering aspects related to offshore gas production system in Masela block and provide technical recommendations on geotechnical engineering project contract preparation and its terms and conditions
3. Review, analyze and monitor project risk management and project risk control implemented by INPEX Indonesia, and in coordination with related Departments and Groups develop and propose risk assessment method based on technical standards to identify, assess, and define geotechnical engineering and survey project risks; in order to ensure availability of reliable project risk assessment method that align with technical standard
4. Review and monitor the Consultant/Contractor’s works in developing  geotechnical engineering and surveys including its interface and integration with respect to HSSE requirements, engineering standards and quality, and other aspects, set up communication of project progress and status with other Group in Front End Engineering Department, review and provide recommendations of solution on any arisen issues and problems; in order to ensure developed geotechnical engineering data meet engineering standards and quality.
5. Review, monitor and conduct risk assessment on developed geotechnical engineering and survey including its risks possibilities of any change and/or deviation of elements, specification, process, system, and others that are proposed by related Parties, monitor MOC implementation on developed Gas Export Pipeline Pre-FEED; in order to minimize/mitigate unpredictable risks on any change and/or deviation of geotechnical engineering, MOC compliance with Company policy and procedures, as well as HSSE requirements and engineering principles.

 

Job Qualification:

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or any other Technical Sciences
• A minimum of 7 years in the Oil and Gas industry and a minimum of 5 years in the area of Geotechnical engineering.
